Overview

  • We give training in tayloring and other life skills to poor unprivileged ladies. 
  • Eighty ladies have completed the program.
  • Ten ladies at a time. 
  • Four month long program.
  • Ladies come from all across Nepal; often remote areas.
  • They come with little or no schooling background.
  • They leave training a "skilled" lady, educated, empowered, enriched.
  • Sewing machines are treadle type or foot powered for village life. 
  • Free of charge to these poor ladies who would not be able to pay. 
  • Made possible by generious donations.
  • Started in 2008.
  • Current group of ladies graduate in Feb 2013
