Age:16 Marital Status: Single Religion: Buddhist Background: She is Buddist, poor family background. There are 7 family members, but nobody have any income source. Without source it is hard to manage this big family. Because of financial and economy problems she can’t continue her study after 8 class. She was doing house work like cutting grass, collecting wood and cooking food for another family. So she would love to learn sewing and become self dependent lady and be able to help family also. |

Name: Sabina Basnet.
Age: 22 Martial Status: Single Religion: Christain Background: She is from an orphanage. Her father was died because of a devil sprit when they were not Christian. Then after they heard the Gospel then she became Christian. While she was telling us her story she was crying and saying to us, if we had been Christian before then we would not be missing our father. So she was planning and praying, "if I earn money in the future, I will take the Gospel to the remote area so that other people will not miss their parents and family, because of devil sprit. We know devil sprit/Satan is afraid only of Jesus Christ name and he is the King of Kings and he is most powerful of all". Then she worked as a labor in house plastering to earn money. She mixed send, cement and water and carry supply for the plastering master which is heavy and hard work for women. This is mostly male person work, but she was doing this work for the money. She don’t have alternative way for earning money because she does not have education for job and no father to provide basic needs. Her brother was a traditional healer (witch doctor), they try to use the devil sprit power to heal people when people get sick. But receintly her brother also became Christian. We know the Lord is the only healer. So please pray for her brother now too. She heard about RTDC through a former RTDC student and connected the local village pastor for the recommendation, and now she is here. She wants to open a tailoring to earn money and use that money to spread word of GOD/ share gospel to remote village and want to save other people lives, especially those who are missing their parents because of devil sprit. ` |

Name: Nabina Rai
Age: 17 Marital Status: Single Religion: Christian Background: She is poor family background. She has big family. She is from a remote area. It takes 1 day morning to night travel by foot, then one full day by local bus, then one full day and night by highway bus then the next morning she arrived. Her travel takes more hours then to travel from USA to Nepal. When she shared the story of her journey we thought that we are listening to an ancient story, and we all are proud of RTDC that we are able to reach that far into the remote areas. Because of the remoteness, tailoring or the making charge (labor charge) is very expensive. Our past students have told us shirt making charge (labor charge) is 400-500 rupees, because they don’t have alternative way. They have to pay 400-500 rupees or they have to walk full day by foot to reach other tailoring shops, so she wants to open tailoring and become a self dependent lady. Note: Normal labor fee in Kathmandu is 200-250 rupees. |

Age:17 Marital Status: Single Religion: Christian Background: She is from poor family background. She was praying for the sewing opportunity for many years. In her village this is easy way to earn money. She wants to share gospel as a missionary and extend his kingdom, but she doesn't have funds to do this work. She was praying for this and this time she got this chance to join RTDC. She is planning to open a tailoring business and support her gospel work. At first she wants to earn money, then she will give support to her church and her gospel work as a missionary even she is girl. Please pray for her, we are going to product a missionary in the village too. |

Name: Bhim maya Tamang
Age: 27 Marital Status: Married (8 years son) Religion: Christian Background: She is uneducated and poor family background. She has one 8 year old son and husband. She had trouble in her delivery time and her son also has medical trouble. She is uneducated, that’s why she didn’t get any opportunity and job to earn money. She needs treatment money for her son because he is unhealthy much of the time. In RTDC only ladies can get this chance, so her husband is caring for their son and managing all things at home and sent her for sewing with big hope for her in the future. At RTDC, many times she is saying now, "I am uneducated so I can’t do this sewing". But we are just giving her advice and encouragement, "You can do this. We hope you will be our best student, don’t worry the Lord will give you knowledge so you can do easily, only you just keep learning and pray". This week also she came to ask, "may I go to my house or can I learn"? We told her, "you can learn and do all this". Now she is ok. Please pray her also because some time they don’t have hope because of being uneducated. They think; How can I write? How can I divide? How can I multiply? How can I memorize? So please pray for her. |

Name: Somati Thokar
Age: 24 Marital Status: Married (4 years daughter) Religion: Buddhist Background: She discriminated by her family. She has no good relationship with her husband, but she does not want to share other about it. That is their personal affairs. Maybe when she will get close to us after some weeks she will can tell us her real story. Her husbands family also hates her. So she wants to self depend lady to fulfill her desire and small 4 year old daughter. She left her daughter with at other relatives house during the 4 month training, even though her husband and their parents are home. Her husband and other family are Christian, only she is non-Christian. In my opinion and thought because of Buddhist –Christian they have no good relationship between her husband and her. Maybe she don’t want to be Christian and her husband don’t want to Buddhist. Maybe in future she will accept the Christ and they will love her. We wish for her and pray for her, that the Lord would change her heart and mind, if it will be possible. If this happened like this, through the Lord RTDC is able to join the broken hearts, not only to help her become self depended business lady. Please pray for her. |

Name: Susmita Nepali
Age:15 Marital Status: Single Religion: Hindu Background: She is orphan and poor background. When she was 5 years old her mother died and she doesn't know when her father died, so it was in the very beginning of her childhood. She didn’t go to school after 4 class. She was living with her relatives, mother’s brother’s house. 5 months before she came to stay with her sister’s house for some time. Other sister getting marrey but they do have worry about her because she was just 15 years. what to do? No more financial support to help her study in her sister and no parents ,her sister has also her own problems so what to do? In the mean time she met the Pastor who sent some of our past students. He told her about RTDC and we told her, "RTDC is for people like you, who have nothing, nobody, no parents in this world". When we are talking her interview and listening to her story she cried and she could not say more then this. We have to give encourage to her, because she is just 15 and she is Hindu so please pray for her. |

Name: Priya Chaudhary
Age: 19 Marital Status: Single Religion : Hindu Background: She is bounded labor, poor background. They didn't have their own land or property. The government gave them a small land only to build a small house, the land is in the government name. They can stay only, but can’t sale it. They have to work as servants in anthers house from generation to generation. Her sister works as servant also, they only receive 3000 rupee ($35) in a year as a salary so she returned back home, then went to small hotel to clean plates and pots. She didn’t get enough money, so she did labor work in building construction which is risky and hard for women without machine. They carrying heavy load in her head and they get only 150 rupee in whole day even they invest all things. In tailoring business 1-2 hours they can earn 150 rupee. At that time Church Pastor met her and asked her about RTDC, then she is agree to come. Because of financial problems she could not continue her study after class 8. So she went to many place to work, but not found no good place. She wants to learn sewing and want to be self depended, earn money and help to her family specially mother. Note: 3000 rupees very small amount, even though the cost in the village is less than the city. |

Age:15 Marital Status: Married Religion: Hindu Background: She is poor, bonded labor family background. Because of low economic status and big family member she can’t continue her study after 5 class. She went to take her sister’s place after her sister got married, after working as a servant 2 years . Her parents get 3-4 thousand in a whole year as a daughter salary without education and any kind of skill. It is impossible to fulfill her own desires and basic needs. She has 8 family members and everybody is depending on their parents, but they don’t have own land to plant rice and many things and no regular income source. She had to start her working life from 12 years old. Pastor met her and she is recommended from Pastor so she is here and after 4 month she want to open tailoring business to fulfill her desire and basic needs and want to help her family too. |

Name: Krisha Sunar
Age:17 Marital Status: Single Religion: New Christian Background: She is poor, lower caste background. The lower caste face many kinds of problems in the village. Like at the village water tap, they can’t touch others when others who are high caste people, even they are in an emergency. They are not to allowed to enter another persons house, but only stand outside. She became Christian after healing and becoming free from her sickness. She was suffering from sickness when attracted by devil sprit. Some time she get free and well but then again was attracted by devil spirit. Still she looks like sick lady, but now she is ok, since 6 month ago when she believe in Christ and prayed for by Pastor and leader she is well. Because of her sickness and economic problems she can’t continue her study after 7 class. Still she has not taken water baptism and she is getting time to know the Lord nearly and personally at RTDC. Her parents are doing labor work like carrying stone, brick, sand and other things. These things need more power and health, but she is not strong, so she wants to learn sewing open tailoring to be self depended lady. In the future, she wants a to open fancy clothing shop. |
